Tokyo, Japan- February 19, 2015: Research Panel Asia, Inc. (RPA) has named a new Chief Executive Officer to continue the firms’ expansion worldwide.
A Smooth Transition
The board of directors of Research Panel Asia’s parent company, Voyage Group Inc. (3688:JP), announced today the appointment of Mr. Masahiro Takanohashi as Chief Executive Officer of Research Panel Asia, Inc. Mr. Takanohashi, succeeds Mr. Toshiki Sano as the CEO. Mr. Sano is continuing to serve Voyage Group as its head of overseas business.
Mr. Takanohashi (pictured), joined VG in 2008 with expertise in software design. Masahiro was a founding member of Research Panel Asia in 2009, spent time in Seoul establishing the Korea office, and was assigned to Manila for 3 months helping to set-up the company’s 24-hour Operations Hub. Mr. Takanohashi has been in Shanghai since 2012 serving as Research Panel Asia’s Chief Operating Officer.
Optimistic About the Future
During his time as COO, Research Panel Asia has achieved double-digit growth, established several new offices globally and upped its panelists by 1 million- to over 2 million total active panelists. “I am proud to have worked together with Mr. Sano as we grew the company in its early stages…” said Mr. Takanohashi. “I am excited to have the opportunity to lead such a talented team as we successfully execute our strategy to become our clients’ go-to partner in Asia and beyond.”
