This news is the result of conversations between both firms about how to best leverage the huge online community that its new partner has developed in China. The site is one of the major online shopping and points rewards sites in China. Research Panel Asia (RPA) will use its proprietary platform called "surveyon PARTNERS" as the main method to recruit, engage, and manage panelists gained through the agreement.
The deal gives RPA access to the shopping giant’s members and will broaden RPA’s coverage, improve feasibility, and better provide for the regional demands of their global market research clients. This partnership adds to RPA's existing coverage of over 2,000,000 panelists in Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
