Junior Project Management Coordinator (Korea)

The Jr. Project Coordinator reports to the Sr. Account Manager, KR - Team Lead.  The position works closely with all members of the Korea Sales and Operation Team.  This is a junior staff level position at dataSpring, working at ensuring that superior Client and Project Management service is delivered to our clients.


Project Management Operations Tasks:

  1. Performs all PM operations tasks under the supervision of the Sr. Account Manager, KR - Team Lead
  2. Receives/acknowledges, evaluates, and takes necessary action to client request
  3. Deliver the request in a timely manner without neglecting budget concerns and profit of the company together (in coordination with Sr. Account Manager, KR - Team Lead)
  4. Assess project issues, identify, implement solutions, and report if necessary
  5. Takes initiative and responsibility in monitoring projects' progress
  6. Works effectively with third parties, where necessary, to generate more sales
  7. Check or test surveys and troubleshoot basic survey technical issues 

Project Management Operations Tasks:

  1. Performs all Pricing operations tasks under the supervision of the Sr. Account Manager, KR - Team Lead
  2. Evaluates the client's request against dataSpring's capability to supply panel (Checking Feasibility)
  3. Ensures scope is properly managed and controlled on estimates so that pricing is competitive and accurate
  4. Responsible for doing follow-up calls/emails to clients on potential projects; possibly be assigned specific accounts to be handled
  5. Escalate any outstanding RFQ-related issues to Sr. Account Manager, KR - Team Lead

General Activities:

  1. Ensures that ALL questions from clients have been answered as fully as possible in order to support the request likewise, all related operational concerns must be discussed with clients.
  2. Establish effective and proactive communication with clients, partners, and internal team members for successful completion and delivery of projects.
  3. Maintains the good public image of the Company.
  4. Functions as a cooperative and active member of Korea Team meetings.
  5. Prudently manages resources within budgetary guidelines to ensure profit.
  6. Contributes to entire dataSpring (and, or other local offices) as an active member, besides the Operations tasks assigned.


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • This is an office environment and typical physical demands apply.

Minimum Qualifications Needed:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and vendors in English.
  • The ability to speak Korean should be the same as that of a native speaker.
  • Customer-oriented
  • Highly analytical and with an innovative mind-set
  • Passion with technology and proficiency in  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is a must
  • Ability to display empathy and ability to get along well with different personalities
  • Experience in dealing with other cultures and diverse work environments is required
  • Must be a passionate, dynamic, and sincere individual who thrives on being part of a growing Team
  • Ability to understand questionnaire designing for Online research is required.
