I. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Specialist’s role is to take part in executing marketing and branding strategies while ensuring that dataSpring meets its Sales and Marketing related KPIs. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and curating content on owned/earned media channels; managing blogs,  dS website and directories (e.g. Asia Research, Greenbook); providing analytics and tracking website traffic including number and nature of incoming inquiries; updating information on directories, managing dS social media contents; weekly meeting/updating of KPIs and results achieved to CEO and direct superior.

 

II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Marketing/Branding Activities:

  1. Develops and manages marketing campaigns and activities. Together with other members of the Global Marketing Team, helps plan and schedule all marketing campaigns and activities; then, delivers according to the agreed Marketing Plan and KPIs.
  2. Creates, curates, and edits marketing content on dataSpring’s owned media (website, blog posts, email newsletters) and earned media (SM such as Twitter, FB, LinkedIn) that deliver a consistent “promise” to current and potential clients according to our Core Values, Mission, Vision, and Brand.
  3. Manage and maintain dataSpring’s website(s); Also takes the lead in follower engagement. Oversee a social media strategy.
  4. Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  5. Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
  6. Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
  7. Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  8. Arrange and if necessary curate webinars and webcasts
  9. Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
  10. Writes copy for email marketing campaigns
  11. Identifies new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  12. Communicates with Advertising partners for press release announcements, ad packages, online directories, and other related branding materials.
  13. Analyzes marketing efforts in order to increase new contacts and maximize the conversion of leads to customers by using tools such as Hubspot and Salesforce. Also takes lead in reporting these results in our weekly MarkeTeam meeting.
  14. Provides ROI analysis to Exec Management to ensure all KPIs are met and investments made in marketing are justified. Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  15. Works with the Design Team as necessary to develop graphics for campaigns, advertisements, and other marketing content offers.
  16. Together with the Global Marketing Team, Design Team and Global HR ensure that dataSpring delivers on the “promise” we make in communication to external clients and Springers.

Sales Support Activities:

  1. Works directly with Business Development Team and other Sales Teams to keep abreast of market and client demands so that Marketing can take advantage of opportunities and adjust strategies as necessary.
  2. Assists with the graphic design process of sales materials, including the placement of content within marketing deliverables as needed.
  3. Leads or acts as a Team player on special projects together with other Teams- including Sales Team or Design Team as needed.
  4. Works with Sales Team to maximize marketing efforts and drive sales.

General Activities:

  1. Constantly identifies financial and other risks to the Company and reports these quickly and accurately to Management.
  2. Maintains the public image of the Company.
  3. Functions as a cooperative and active member of weekly Global MarkeTeam and MarkeTeam meetings, preparing agendas beforehand and taking notes in the meeting.
  4. Prudently manages resources within budgetary guidelines to ensure profit.
  5. Completes other administrative work as required and acts as a key part of a small office.

III. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

  • This is an office environment and typical physical demand applies.
  • Travel may be required to attend conferences, client meetings, and company-sponsored events.
  • Must be open to working flexible hours in order to communicate efficiently with Global team members.

Minimum Qualifications Needed:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills in order to deliver the target message effectively with staff, partners, and clients
  • Well-developed interpersonal skill is required
  • Ability to get along well with different personalities and to work well in global  teams is required
  • Advance knowledge on Internet and SEO marketing, content marketing (blogs, social media, and email), as well as Hubspot marketing automation software,  are required; experience in SalesForce is preferred.
  • Passion with technology and proficiency in  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) or Keynote is a must
  • Must have professionalism, passion to succeed, and a motivation to reach higher goals.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client and marketing services
  • Must have the ability to consistently meet check-ins and deadlines on the road to launching new marketing campaigns.
  • Experience or familiarity with design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Must have creative and analytical thinking skills.
  • Must have an understanding of the importance of ROI as it relates to measuring campaign success.

Education/Experience:

  • Must have 1-3 Years of marketing or client service experience in the market research industry
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably in Marketing (with digital marketing courses)
  • Experience working for a B2B marketing company or social media campaigns from content creation to delivery and launches
